Tempranillo Blanco is a variety native to Rioja, which arose as a natural mutation of red Tempranillo. It stands out for its balance between acidity, structure and aromatic expression, which makes it possible to produce whites with the capacity to evolve and a strong link to the vineyard.
A dry, demanding vintage, with uneven ripening that called for precise selection. Cool nights during the harvest made it possible to retain acidity and freshness, giving balanced wines with structure and an aptitude for ageing.
Final production for the vintage: 305 bottles.
Twelve months in second-year French oak barrels, selected to accompany the wine without dominating it. The oak brings complexity and texture while keeping the varietal identity and freshness.
Vineyards located in the Najerilla valley, on sandy-loam alluvial soils with gravel and rounded stones. Poor, well-drained soils that favour gradual ripening, bringing aromatic definition, freshness and structural balance
Straw yellow with golden reflections, clean and bright.
Elegant and complex, with ripe white fruit, flowers and a mineral background. The ageing brings subtle notes of almond and fine bakery.
Broad and balanced, with good acidity and a silky texture. Long on the palate, with ripe fruit, creamy notes and a light varietal bitterness on the finish. Persistent, harmonious finish.
